Tampa tech company secures $4.2 million contract with the Pentagon (by Lauren Coffey)

A Tampa-based technology company focusing on threat detection has secured a U.S. government contract with the Pentagon.

Entropy Technology Design, a threat detection company focusing on both natural and manufactured threats, signed a three-year, $4.25 million contract with the Pentagon at the end of May. The funding will help Entropy research and develop its technology for the Department of Defense to detect, identify, track and disable small, unmanned aerial systems.
