Many business owners know they need to make formal plans for leadership transition, but planning can easily take the backseat to the urgency of managing daily operations, people, equipment, credit, cash flow, business development, and the next big project. However, this is becoming a significant issue for business owners.

Challenges and barriers to business succession are real. Those challenges become even more complicated when friends and family are involved. A healthy, sustainable business is the best way to provide for the needs of all involved. The goal is operating the business today in a manner that creates multiple options tomorrow.

Join fellow business owners and emerging leaders as we have a discussion about how to identify and work through the uncertainties and opportunities; and continue the legacy they dreamed about when they started the business.

Topics:
• Challenges and barriers to succession.
• Creating options and flexibility for business transition that align with your goals and dreams.
• Creating a legacy. Our dreams do not end at transition.
• Next generation vs. owner perspectives.

Who should attend:
This session is designed for owners of privately-held businesses, next generation leaders, controllers, managers, board members and other decision makers.

Facilitators:
• Erik Skie, Chief Industry Officer
• Marni J. Spence, Principal
• Larry Calise, Principal
