Abbie has worked with students from all grade levels and abilities in traditional classrooms, museum educational programs, and learning labs. During her time at the University of Central Florida, Abbie became a Subject Matter Expert in the use of 3D scanning for innovative educational purposes. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with her teaching certification, bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education, and a minor in Art History. Abbie started as the Teaching Assistant for the lab in 2022, and through hard work and proven leadership was promoted to Office Manager in 2023. As Office Manager, she supports the SBCFL team and educates students of all ages. Outside of STARBASE, Abbie’s interests include entomology, art history, and spending time with her husband Parks and cat Mitski.
