The Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation, Assistant Project Manager for Medical Simulation (APM MedSim) is the only DoD acquisition program management office for Medical Simulation and Training products. APM MedSim also provides acquisition support services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) SimLearn National Program Office.
The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Simulation and Training Technology Center is a state-of-the-Art research and development facility whose hallmark is transitioning the right technology in the shortest time to our Soldiers. The STTC mission is to enhance Warfighter readiness through research and development of applied simulation
technologies for learning, training, testing and mission rehearsal.
The “Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network,” or SimLEARN, the program is improving the quality of health care services for America’s veterans through the application of simulation-based learning strategies to clinical workforce development. The SimLEARN National Center will be built on the campus of the new Orlando VA Medical Center, which is part of the exciting new “Medical City” campus at Lake Nona.
