Simulation was featured as a question on the 31 Oct 2014 segment of the Jeopardy television program! The question posed to contestants was: “Invented in 1929, the Army Air Corps began using these to reduce airplane accidents”… the answer was “Flight simulator”. Unfortunately not one of the contestants got the answer correct. I guess we still have some work to do to explain the power of simulation for training!
