Tavistock Development Co. LLC is mulling a new alternate spot in southeastern Orlando as the potential location of the nation’s first air taxi hub.

The final site is where Tavistock will lead the development of a 56,000-square-foot air taxi landing and takeoff facility. The vertiport, which will enable travel in a small passenger jet that can fly more than 180 miles per hour, will create 100 high-wage jobs and likely attract other businesses, Tavistock Group Managing Director Ben Weaver previously told OBJ.
