Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste was a featured speaker on day four of I/ITSEC 2010 to 65 business leaders participating in the Central Florida Partnership’s Leadership Orlando Class 80. Following his remarks, Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste chaired an Industry Panel that included Jim Craig, Lockheed Martin, David Rees, SAIC, John Sclott, L-3, Matt Fair, VCOM3D and Dr. Roger Smith, Florida Hospital’s Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement.
After several hours of touring the displays, Class 80 members received an overview of the power of the M&S cluster in Central Florida and its importance to a diversified Florida economy. They then heard from prominent members of Industry who talked about their individual companies, their workforce and what they see as the future of this Industry. Dr. Smith was able to give them a glimpse at what the future holds for advancements in Medical M&S.
