Henry C. Okraski Scholarship

Foundation for Seminole State College of Florida, Inc.

At least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year for a new or continuing student enrolled in the Seminole State College (SSC) simulation track of the AS in Computer Programming & Analysis or BS in Information Systems Technology. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need and be a Florida resident.

The scholarship funds may be used towards tuition, books and fees.

Specific Restrictions

Scholarship recipient may be a new or continuing student.
Student must be enrolled in the SSC programs identified above in the semester for which the scholarship is sought.
Student must be a Florida resident (provide copy of voter registration card or driver’s license).
Student must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
Student must have some degree of financial need.

Guidelines

Students will apply for the scholarships according to Foundation guidelines and timelines. Completed application forms will be returned to SSC for qualification. Award recipients will be selected by a SSC Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee. The Foundation will notify the recipient and coordinate disbursement of the award.
