NCS Announces Plans for its 2015 Board of Directors Election

NCS Board of Directors Election Planned for September 2015

On 30 September 2015, the terms of service of six (6) members of the NCS Board of Directors (BOD) will expire.  Each of the incumbents is eligible to run for re-election and the election is also open to other NCS Members who are interested in seeking a seat on the BOD for a three (3) year term.  If your company or organization has an NCS Corporate or Organizational Membership in good standing (dues current) and you are interested in seeking election to one of the six (6) available BOD seats, call 407-384-6111.  NCS will require  an individual photo, a bio and a short paragraph that describes what you will bring to the BOD if elected.  This material will be posted to the NCS website for Member’s review during the online voting process.   Note:  Associate Members (practitioner or student) are not eligible to run for election to the BOD.
 
Timing of the NCS BOD election is as follows:
 
–  NCS will seek nominees and collect individual information for posting to the NCS website until
   close of business on Friday, 28 August 2015.
 
–  Online voting will begin Monday, 31 August 2015 on the NCS website and continue until close
   of business on Friday, 25 September 2015.
 
–  Each NCS Corporate or Organizational Member can cast one vote for up to six (6) candidates.
   Note:  Associate Members (practitioner or student) are not eligible to vote.
 
–  Votes will be validated by a member of the NCS Budget/ Audit Committee on Monday,
   28 September 2015 and the six (6) individuals who receive the most votes will be announced
   at the next NCS Membership Night scheduled for Wednesday, 30 September  2015.
 
–  The six (6) elected individuals will be invited to attend the NCS BOD meeting scheduled for 
   Wednesday,18 November 2015.
