Class Title Application Systems Programmer I
Job Description ST, School of Modeling, Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida is interested in hiring a talented systems programmer/simulation developer.
Position responsibilities include:
• Support concurrent projects efficiently to meet deliverable deadlines.
• Interact with an interdisciplinary team of human factors psychologists, industrial engineers, computer scientists, and modeling & simulation.
• Support program demonstrations, workshops, and integration assessments.
• Develop functional user interfaces for use in research.
• Work within simulation frameworks and game engines to develop, modify, or create content for working simulations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in research and data processing software.
• Software development on a variety of code bases.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Minimum Requirements
Preferences Prefer a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Modeling and Simulation, or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and three years related professional experience.

Special Conditions United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance is required due to the nature of research performed.
Tasking is to be completed primarily at the IST Prodigy Lab. Travel will be required up to 25%.
