Job Description:

The School of Modeling, Simulation, and Training (SMST) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is looking for a software and game research developer to support new and emerging immersive virtual environments and simulation systems. The incumbent in this position will work both independently and as a member of a team to support, design, develop, and test in areas concerning new and emerging immersive virtual environments and simulation systems for UCF/IST. The selected candidate will provide software and graphics development support on standard computer platforms as well as on mobile devices. The incumbent will also support user interface theme development and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a field related to software development supporting 3D visualization and game development, or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a field related to software development supporting 3-D visualization and game related programming and development, and three years related professional experience.
