July 27th is Team Orlando Summer Industry Capability Day presented by National Center for Simulation.

ARC Technology Engineering Solutions

The Haptic Audio Visual Impulse Cannon (HAVIC) simulates the sense of being near an explosive detonation event in training simulators or other environments. The system employs an electrical discharge to produce a shock wave and a secondary focused pressure wave that is directed at targets of interest within the simulator. The wave is propagating at a high velocity so that at tens of feet, there is no perceptible time delay with respect to other events in the simulator. This not only produces a sense of feeling the simulated explosion, but also generates a startling effect on the trainee that is characteristic of actual events. HAVIC will not harm the simulation facility or leave debris such as projectiles or paint. The system also operates within safety limits set forth in applicable OSHA and MIL standards.

Bren-Tronics, Inc.

For 40 years military and commercial customers have relied on Bren-Tronics, to design and manufacture mission critical portable power solutions in the U.S. We produce a U.S. Department of Defense approved BB-2590/U battery, and continue to innovate tomorrows technology into today’s energy storage solutions.

Whether your power needs are measured in watts, kilowatts or megawatts our engineering team leverages commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) design and hardware to provide you targeted energy storage solutions.Contact us to learn how we “Deliver the Power to Succeed.”

Discovery Machine, Inc.

Discovery Machine has developed a patented approach to capturing and deploying the knowledge assets of subject matter experts. Knowledge assets can be leveraged in training tools, behavior models for simulation, expert coaches, best practice systems, job aid advisors, and automated business systems. Our solutions let you quickly and easily create your own realistic training simulations that help trainees learn faster and see the cause/effect relationship of their decisions in real time.

3D Simulations, Inc.

3D Simulations provides 3D printing (additive manufacturing with fused deposition modeling) in a wide variety of plastics tailored to meet strict specifications as required by the Defense Modeling and Simulation industry. We provide professional 3D printing and modeling using the newest available machines and technology to achieve high tolerance parts. Our machines can 3D print with layers less than half as thick as a sheet of paper. If that high of a resolution is still too rough for your application, our advanced post processing methods will create a smooth exterior surface.

Our specialty is in the area of rapid prototyping of fully functional parts for various military and commercial simulations applications. Our regular customers particularly value the significant cost savings provided by shortened lead times and high tolerance specifications accurate for testing form fit and function.
