Established in 1957, State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is the region's first and largest public college, serving 30,000+ college credit students annually at campuses in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice, and online via eLearning opportunities.  Another 25,000 participants annually attend professional development and personal enrichment classes.  SCF is a dynamic College dedicated to meeting the educational and workforce training needs of citizens and businesses in the region.  SCF has expanded its mission to include workforce baccalaureate degrees while continuing to focus on highly respected associate degrees that prepare graduates for university transfer and professional careers.  The Medical Technology & Simulation Center at SCF Lakewood Ranch opened for Fall 2010 classes.  The two-story, 42,000 sq. ft. building houses nursing, other health professions, education and SCF"s new Energy Technology Management Program.  The center is SCF's first green certified building and achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.

Our Mission

The Florida Federal Contractors Association (FFCA) is a non-profit business league and economic development association committed to the following mission:

-  Providing important educational programming and training seminars for member companies;
-  Fostering collaboration among regional businesses engaged in or capable of engaging in federal contracting work; and
-  Marketing the region's federal contracting capabilities.

Membership is generally open to companies or individuals in Florida currently engaged in federal contracting or subcontracting work, companies or individuals in Florida capable of performing federal contracting or subcontracting work, and companies or individuals in Florida engaged in work or services specifically ancillary to federal contracting.  Membership is also available to academic institutions and government agencies.
