10 years ago, Neal and Jill Kimball solved a problem - a decreasing amount of time to spend together as a family - and in the process created a business. Family Table Time, a system for organizing and holding memorable family meetings, was the product of one family's desire to maximize their time together at the family table. Originally offered for sale as a kit including a vinyl tablecloth and markers for each family member to record memories on the tablecloth, Family Table Time has evolved into several new formats, including free downloadable kits offered exclusively through FAMILYing.com.

The success of Family Table Time encouraged its creators to write their book, Drawing Families Together One Meal at a Time, and Family Table Time's proven method for improving family communication will not only provide the "heart" to FAMILYing.com, but also be used to foster stronger bonds between schools and parents as an exciting new component launching in schools across the country: School House to Your House.

At the same time they were revolutionizing family life, the Kimball’s were also becoming a force in education. Their tutoring firm, A+ Tutor U, was first housed in the back seat of a Subaru, but now this SES Provider tutors over 8,000 students in 36 Florida counties. A+ Tutor U is increasing the reach of its free tutoring program, with planned growth in Georgia, Texas, New York and Washington, D.C. planned for the near future.
