Arizona Simulation Training and Education Center

Welcome to the Department of Surgery at The University of Arizona. We offer patients and referring physicians all the resources of a major academic center. We provide new leading-edge treatments for complex medical conditions. We emphasize advanced surgical procedures, including minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. We work closely with other medical specialists to provide patients comprehensive, personalized treatment options.

We also offer exceptional training opportunities for medical students, residents and fellows. This includes access to state-of-the-art technology and training facilities, including a simulation laboratory to practice surgical skills.
