FY 2012 Appropriations Process Kick-Off

To all NCS Members and prospective Members:

NCS will host a Luncheon Meeting with Industry on Thursday, 16 Sep 10 @ Stoneybrook East Golf Club beginning at 11:30 a.m. to kick-off the FY 2012 Appropriations process.  A key lesson learned from the FY 2011 process was that we needed to get started earlier in order to broaden the participation of Member Companies and improve the quality of project submissions targeted for FY 2012 Appropriations plus-ups.  At the luncheon meeting, Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste will review all of the lessons learned from last year, pass out background material to help Companies prepare their White Paper proposals and present a timeline for submissions.  A goal for this year will be to rank order project submissions and identify those that will be taken forward NLT I/ITSEC.  This will allow Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste to discuss next steps with selected companies on the margins of the conference.

Cost for the luncheon will be $25 for those that pre-register NLT 14 Sep 10.  For those who choose to register after 14 Sep 10 or pay at the door, the cost is $30.   Space is limited so
pre-registration is suggested.
