Dear patriots and fellow veterans,
Greetings! It is with great pride and high excitement that I announce the upcoming dedication ceremony for the UCF Veterans Commemorative Site. This incredible tribute to all veterans--past, present and future--will soon highlight the south end of Memory Mall with a powerful, dignified and enduring recognition of the honorable service and noble sacrifices of dedicated veterans throughout our nation’s history.
UCF President John Hitt and I are honored to invite you and your family to participate in this special dedication ceremony scheduled for Friday, October 29 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Veterans are the center of our planned celebration, and your presence will certainly enrich this special time of remembrance and fellowship among patriots from all ages. More specific invitation details, including a campus map with parking information, are provided as attachments to this email.
Almost two years in the making, the Veterans Commemorative Site will truly be a magnificent recognition of the many selfless individuals who have served and defended America as members of the United States Armed Forces. Their military service and lifelong support of the nation have earned them the gratitude and respect of freedom-loving citizens around the world, and we hope you can join us on October 29 to pay tribute to these heroes.
