Okraski Scholarship

General Scholarship Description

At least one $900 scholarship will be awarded each semester for a new or continuing student enrolled in the DBCC Simulation Technology Degree Program. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need and be a Florida resident (provide copy of voter registration card or driver's license).

The scholarship funds may be used towards tuition, books and fees.

Specific Restrictions

  • Scholarship recipient may be a new or continuing student
  • Student must be enrolled in the DBCC simulation technology degree program in the semester for which the scholarship is sought.
  • Student must be a Florida resident.
  • Student must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
  • Student must have some degree on financial need.

Guidelines

Students will apply for the scholarships according to Foundation guidelines and timelines. Completed application forms will be returned to DBCC for qualification. Award recipients will be selected by a DBCC Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee. The Foundation will notify the recipient and coordinate disbursement of the award.
